Empire: Total War is #1 in UK

The folks at Gamasutra have an interesting tidbit:

Sega and Creative Assembly’s Empire: Total War has become the first PC title to hit the number one spot in the UK charts sinceFootball Manager 2008 (also published by Sega) in October 2007. 

The epic historical war game topped both the individual and all-platform charts, becoming the fastest-selling entry in the series so far.

I'm waiting a year, after the medieval  total war2 fiasco it might be playable by then and also a lot cheaper.
