Man, this is insane! I have3 Vista64 and I can't find this game (and that's when looking in the directory specified as where I want things downloaded!). None the less, it confirms the game was downloaded (and "installed" on my LIVE account and I can find and *ini file on my computer for it). But, here I am 800 points poorer and not able to find how to play this game.
I can find FAQs, but no way to contact LIVE directly. Is there a way? This LIVE is pretty Mickey Mouse, I must say.

Br41th: I couldnt find the radio station and thats because all my games are on E: drive and the DLC goes to C: (as far as I know) to get round this in XP I used search to find Anchorage.esm when found right click on it and click open containing folder there are 3 files there: Anchorage.esm Anchorage-Main.bsm Anchorage-Sounds.bsa Highlight all files and drag them 2 the data folder within Fallout 3 again 2 find fallout 3 use the search in windows explorer Close any open windows, start the game, when you get the splash screen click on data files and select Anchorage.esm, walk round the wasteland for about a minute and you'll start the mission. Hope that helps

In a way this is honestly why I don't like downloadable DLCs for PC games... LOL!
I'm having the same problem with Vista 32. I have a partition just for Windows and everything else goes on the E: drive. I tried to do the moving the Anchorage files fix but I can't find them anywhere on my computer. Again, when I play the game it tells me that its all installed, but I've never had the radio message and I tried going striaght to the first location and nothing is there.
Anyone know how to resolve this on Vista or where the files are hidden (searching both C: and E: turns up nothing).
Any help is greatly appreciated, though MS, get with the program and get a fix out for this. I doubt we're the only ones having problems with this and it took me long enough to find this forum.
Vista File Location For DLC:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XLive\DLC\<LOTS OF RANDOM NUMBER FOLDER NAMES>\Content
Files:
Anchorage - Main.bsa
Anchorage - Sounds.bsa
Copy these to the Data folder in your Fallout 3 folder and that should fix the issue. Remember to check Anchorage.esm in the Data Files menu, found on the splash menu when you start the game.
THANKYOU !!! for posting above post .. was getting very frustrated
found the files, moved em over, fingers crossed it works now ..
I would like to know who the moron(s) is who set this up , download and install automatically ... doesnt work .. and absolutely ZERO in the way of instructions or support ?
Funny thing was i was in the game for 2 hours after the supposed install before I realised the install obviously didnt work , as I was having so much fun anyway .. kinda forgot about it :)
I have come up witha way to fix this problem for people with files on drives other than the system drive which also allows the GFWL system to work properly. This involves tricking the operating system / GFWL. Because the game loks for the DLC files on the same drive as it is installed on but GFWL insists on placing them on the C:\ drive, we need to do some sleight-of-hand using junction points.
Here is how - note that this method requires you to download some software and involves tinkering with the operating system.
1 . Firstly, on the drive on which the game is actually installed, create an empty folder called "Documents and Settings" - this will be the folder we use to trick windows. For example if your games drive is G:\ create "G:\Documents and Settings" as an empty folder.
2 . Download Junction Link Magic from http://www.rekenwonder.com/linkmagic.htm
3. Run Junction Link Magic. It will scan your system for a minute or two for existing junction points.
4. Once the scan has finished, click the "Create" button. Select your new empty "Documents and Settings" folder on your game drive as the host and "C:\Documents and Settings" as the destination.
5. Confirm by clicking "Create" and then exit Junction Link Magic
This makes your "G:\Documents and Settings" folder a transparent link to "C:\Documents and Settings" ; that is, it appears to be on the G:\ drive but is in fact on the C:\ drive and all changes made to it affect the actual files on C:\
Next time you run Fallout 3 the DLC will work as planned and you can even get your achievements etc.
Computer Scienced! Take that Microsoft!

P.S. Message me if you need help or anything :-) feel free to add my gamertag also
Nice PodRed! I had manually copied the folder from my C:\Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\XLive to the same on my game drive, but your solution is better and more space efficient. Good Work!
Thanks, just thought I'd give my solution back to help other people out :-)
That solution has already been posted on the forums for a day or two.
Ah ok, I couldn't find anything about it other than copying the files manually which would need to be done with each DLC released so I thought I'd post my junction link solution as well. Didn't realise someone had already beaten me to it. Never mind, I figure having it in multiple places will make it easier for other people with the same problem to find it :-)

You did good, PodRED. Thank you.
GFWL should put the files in the games data folder. It is their content and they should be able to use the registery their company CREATED to find the correct location for the files. If these are the results, this is certainly a poor way to distribute content. Most users don't know what is happening on their PC past double-clicking desktop icons to fire up a program. We shouldn't have to find some forum somewhere to get answers on how to make a product WE BOUGHT work on our machines.
That, and the fact that you have no option to contact MS from within the Live envrionment to ask WTF is going on... Poorly done, boys, poorly done.
GFWModerator: Some users have reported an issue similar to what you are reporting when they have their game installed on a driver other than the system drive. Is that the case for you?

This is my issue. Any word on when there will be a fix. I do not want to have to uninstall the game and re-install to a different drive. I put it on the drive it is on for a reason.
Ended up downloading the files several times, killing the bandwidth on my USB modem, followed the instructions to log in to LIVE and fire up the game and just wait for Operation Anchorage to start.
It never did, despite hours of frustration
This needless experience takes the edge off the delight I associated with Bethesda's great game, minus ten points to Microsoft for screwing it up, its not like you don't have the resources.
Will follow the tips founds here now - just needed a vent!!!
LOST interest in online gaming as I can't get it to work, bye bye Bethesda.
Some word from someone 'Official' would be nice.
Again, I do not like having to modify my registry/os to create a 'linkpoint' and fool your software into thinking I have the game installed on my C drive.
It is extremely common to have more than one drive and to install products on these different drives per user preference. Will someone please let us consumers know when the product is going to be fixed so that it properly recognises the drive the software is installed on?
My Fallout 3 install is also on a different drive; I suspected this might be my issue.
Any word on whether you still get the achievements when the files are copied to the Fallout 3 folder? I know this is nit picky but I do like the achievements :-).
*waits impatiently for MS to get their act together on GFWL*
Thank you.
