Something else to think about, several loyal Xbox fans have converted to Playstation after Sony released their services to Malaysia....
One more thing about Malaysia, a huge number of people have connections in Singapore, India and Taiwan and many of them purchase Xbox's. Also, billions of computer gamers live in Malaysia and buy windows games but are unable to play across the web.
@ EnglishBub- I agree with you. I am from Malaysia also. And I would love for Microsoft to expand their GFWL coverage to our country. However, the piracy rate is really making this a hassle. Can't blame MS; no company would go for oppourtunities which would result in lost profits.
Quite a number of people in the capital of Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) are supporting original, but it's really not much. And the piracy rate in some of the states are as high as 95%

You know that there is a big demand that LIVE isn't supported to many countries. I'm from Greece and i cant get online because it not supported.
There many people that want to be on LIVE and the bad thing is that the can't access it! Because many people from many countries are not supported (including me)and want to. PLEASE make an update so GFWL can be supported to more legions(including Greece)! To tell you the truth I want to join LIVE for the achievements thats all.

You know there are other methods to get into LIVE right?. No those methods are not illegally.

Well, you can't play on GFWL multiplayer without an original game can you ? so by not providing Live, Microsoft is screwing those who spend money on original games and get no benefit for their hard earned cash
I don't understand why they crossed xbox live with pc online gaming?
If i wanted that i'd waste money on a bloody XBOX. I don't want consoles, i'm a pc user.

yes it's true that many people in Malaysia buy pirated things, i've seen countless numbers of pirated movies and a number of playstation games, but honestly i have never seen a pirated version of an xbox game...

As multiplayer doesn't work in GTA4 I'm now battling to launch it on Ubuntu Linux.
P.S. It's a great OS, easier to use than Win and much more reliable.
