My friends Xbox 360 has a funky light show, its not the norm so im hoping someone knows whats causing it, if I no that i may beable to fix it.
Before you say you should of posted in an xbox forum, I have posted in loads of forums that have some connection to xbox.
Ive made a short vid, there are other vids about that showcase the same problem and people have said its a fake, its no fake or I wouldnt be asking for help.
There have been people stating that the new red ring this time might be the graphic card or thing inside the xbox itself, i heard this numerous times, maybe the card that displays the thing on the screen is done?

Yup... but that's not it. The one that is starting to become more common is e74 (bottom Right is red).
First things first... has he called MS... does he still have a warrenty?
Don't open anything until you figure that out.... although he might have already... everything I'm reading about this error says that it is happening after someone installs a mod chip.
Let me know what happens. Over the past couple months I've had to open my xbox many times... so I can at least guide you if it comes to that.
Hey Walrus, the Xbox is only 2 months old, he took it back to HMV where he bought it, they sent it to MS, who sent it back to him with a note saying the Xbox has been tampered with and they arent going to replace it or repair it.
Thats b0110cks why would he open it if its under warranty (unless he has tryed modding it)
Ive got some experiance with fixing DS's, PSP's, Ipods and building PC's, so I will take it apart if I can find out what the rings mean.
Ive posted the vid on 3dgameman, xbox.com, 360achievements.org and here, hopefuly i'll find out what the problem is by the end of the week
Ok. Just to let you know... taking it apart the first time is a ***. Also... make sure you have torx 10 screw drivers and in the correct sizes. Half of my screws are stripped because I didn't have them. If you plan on going to buy them... put taking it apart on hold.
I just fixed my e74 error for the second time! I'll look into your error more to see if my fix might help you.
Oh and post it on xbox-scene.com. They are pretty good.

I'm sorry since when is this the xbox forum. Get off the games for windows forum and post your information where it belongs on the xbox website or an xbox fanboy site. If you have a problem with a PC then I will help you but go else where for your POS console.
Stop convoluting our GFW forum with your console crappiness.

It looks like your xbox is either confused, or it is trying to bother you. it's Saying :"HA Ring of Death, HA! NOT! LOOSER!, HA ROD, HA LOOSER; HA! etc."

Yeah I can be an ***, but if you have a problem with an xbox then go and ask someone on the xbox forums. If you have problems with your PC and games for windows games, or DLC or even want to sprout on about how good steam is, I have no problem helping you with that as long as it is PC related.
Why does this site even have an off topic section and why is a message posted in off topic plasted front and centre when it is posted. Surely the off topic section should be hidden away where it won't interfere with people who have legitimate PC info or problems. I come onto to this website to hear people talking about PC, GFW and GFWL games and information. I don't want to hear people complaining about their 360's when they shouldn't have brought one in the first place. Seriously any xbox 360 post should be looked at and moved to the xbox forums if they have no relevance at all to PC Gaming.

As you can see, it is a "free for all" board which encompasses any topic (as long as it does not violate the ToU, obviously). This thread is perfectly fine. Please stop spamming.

The force obviously isnt strong in this 1. Did you have a bad experience with a console as a kid? Maybe the cpu beat you at pong
or worse your little sister, and you have hated consoles ever since with a passion.
The only time you post on here is to argue with people, whats up with that?
FYI most people on here also own an Xbox 360 including the mods, I like the way your moining about me asking for tec help on an xbox when there are threads dedicated to your favorite soda and whos posted more than 1000 times.
