Guys this is the error message I get:
"Install of Broken Steel failed. Not a cryptographic message or the cryptographic message is not formatted correctly. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8009200D).
I bought the DLC then tried to download it and after it gets to the full 510MB it displays this error message and will not let me retry either. I have also tried this on both my PC's and its the same error.
Any ideas how to fix this???

Tried deleting it from the Marketplace but it will not let me and shows up as downloaded but will not install just comes up with the same error message.
second download of the day. 2 more to go (vista SP2 and virtual pc 7 beta)
im having the same problem too. Stayed up all night waiting for it and now it doesnt work.
Think the file is corrupt!! I found it on my PC after trying the 2nd time. The file is called: 425307D60EC00011.cab and located in: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\GFWLive\Downloads
I tried to extract this file to manually place the DLC folder with the other 2 but got the following message: !!! "C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\425307D60EC00011.cab: The archive is corrupt"
Most PC users on the official Fallout3 forums report the same error as we are getting.
MS you need to look into this ASAP as its possible the file is corrupt at your end somewhere.
yeah i already found all of that and tried messing with it. I closed out the Games for Windows program and then re-opened it and now i got it to say installing... so far its just sitting here.
This is BS as on the official forums some mod closed the thread were people were being very polite about it not working for PC!!!
So its like they are not even interested then some smarmy Fallout 3 dev comes along as says its working fine for him. Yeah right for 99.9% of PC users its not working at all!!
The Pitt worked fine for PC but was broken for X360 now Broken Steel is fine for X360 but broken for PC. Do these guys even test it beforehand!!!!
I got the same error but the cab file looks okay I extracted it okay, but I have no idea where to install it or if it would be better to wait it out for Microsoft to get it working correctly first.

Its not ok its missing several files which are encrypted and currently contain null data!!!

Are all localized versions affected?Which version seems to be corrupted?Can somebody say, if the german version is also not running?
Also having the same problem here. Currently patched up to 1.5 on FO3.
Just send an email to Bethesda, but im suddenly less worries, as i can see im not the only one having this darned issue. too bad microsoft and bethesda didn't test this out enough before releasing a seemingly useless DLC so far.

The DLC is corrupted somewhere as I tried playing Fallout3 then downloading from within the game and same result. Does GFWL not have like someone on EU time to check this out as its after all the biggest market in the world for both Games & Movies so you would think MS would realise this and have someone available for popular launches like this to manage it smoothly.
This gives GFWL more bad PR unfortunately!!!
I am having the same problem on both my Desktop PC and my laptop... I too stayed up all night waiting for this release and then wham!!! This happens!?!?!? FIX IT, I paid money for a product that's not working!!!
