K00PA TR00PA:

EpicScroll:

2. CD KEY exploits to be fixed.

Thats being fixed with version 3.0. Its going to be interesting to see which users here all of sudden stop getting LIVE games, when in the past they were getting all of them. Confused

Is there anyway i can change mine there all under one (i have like 5 other keys)

There is more to life than Gamerscore.

However, I do think that branding "Games for Windows" on games that don't even use Live is rather stupid and only advertises Vista... But that was the original point, wasn't it?

Hell no.

G4W L is nothing but crap currently. It works for some games, but its still faulty with a majority of games. If it was mandatory it would be crap all across the board. Microsoft cares nothing for improving Games 4 Windows Live service to any position of greatness.

Why do you mean it is steam it also uses GFWL for MP. What the heck is wrong with Steam?. The network is far superior fthan GFWL.

I think he means he does not like to have steam running to play the game.

I actually quite like steam for somethings.  Like the orange box for £5 deal.  But there are also cases on steam where you have to pay £10 over the RRP for a download.  I just don't see how that works.

Yeah, I agree with you on that. STEAM has really juicy offers.

However, the downside to me is that games like DoW 2 that utilizes steam requires cable connection for first time signing up. Thank god that STEAM has offline and online mode.

I mean, it's inconvenient, as I can install DoW 2 on my pc cuz I have broadband, but I can't for my laptop with wi-fi.

Steam has SOME offers.

Fallout 3 costs full price on there, but unlike the hard copy, you dont get a real dvd, you cant play without having steam, and if valve were to ever abandon or patch or change steam, your copy of the game would be affected whether you like it or not.

It's ironic now that you mentioned it. I live in Asia, so I have the Asian version of Fallout 3. And Beth hasn't released any patches for the Asian version, so I am basically screwed here. Haven't played a single dlc yetSad

Oh and I agree with the Steam update and game patch. I did the patches for DoW 2 on my comp. Tried to bypass it cuz I wanted to check my LIVE mail first, but it wouldn't let me through so I had to go with it. But for most of the time, offline mode is a bleesing to those with slow connection.
