A Little poll about Point Lookout

Will point lookout work?

Do you think that Point Lookout, the FORTH DLC for Fallout 3 will actually come out without any problems or will be a total nightmare like broken steel or just have some minor glitches like OA or the Pitt

  • Total Epic Failure! (3.6%)
  • Minor Glitches that don't involve LIVE (25%)
  • Download/Install issues (32.1%)
  • No problems at all! Finally! (39.3%)
  • Total Votes: 28

I'm willing to bet that I'll have to go find the install files in appdata again.

I am putting my money on it having download issues with a ton of people just like the DLCs but will have the same solutions to the download issues.

Achievements may be broken until someone at MS fixes it. This has happened on the last 2 DLC so sceptical it will be fixed now.

lol, in other words it works fine "in house", but once released into the real world it will be broke for no apparent reason. Stick out tongue

Lets just see what happens tomorrow. I wonder if people realize that  they need to sign in to live to access the content correctly ?

pretty even across the board. only one person from the looks of it thinks it's going to be a total epic failure like broken steel.

Only 2 more hours till we know.

just have to guess that they wont have problems like the last time. i assume they understood what the consequences would become if failure of the new launch is unsuccessful.

Appeared on GFWL Marketplace at 11AM GMT. Works perfectly no buying or downloading issues at all. Only problem is the crash on exit bug which patch 1.4 introduced is still present Bethesda need to fix this. 657MB after the decompress and around 394MB when you DL in GFWL Client.

Off to play it now!!

Achievements work fine as well. Got my first 20GS just now.

But goddamn this DLC is seriously hard. Weapons which previously took out anything now do little damage.

The hillbillies & swamp mutants are rock hard to kill. I need to find a shotgun in this which gives out 94 damage............quick as most of my health and ammo is nearly gone. Pretty good challenge here and the gfx are the best yet for Fallout 3. Some of the sunsets and water look great.
