I had to get a new computer do to that XP destroying virus, and finally got around to reinstalling my games. I had purchased some game add-ons and they will not let me install them onto my new computer. With my other computer a total loss, is there anyway to reinstall my purchases without having to repurchase them? It says that they are linked to another machine, and any support page I go to on their websites is nonexistant from the link or not helpful at all.
So do I have to repurchase stuff I already paid for and is linked to my account, or is there a way to get it installed on my new computer.
I can't answer the whole answer someone else who has knowledge regarding it will help you out.
All i can tell you is that you DON'T need to repurchase it. Once you purchased it it is yours forever.
Also have you installed the marketplace?.
Install the marketplace app, sign in to LIVE, and then go to My Media. In the upper right under Display, change the dropdown to Entire History, and it should have your entire purchase history, then you can click the down arrow to download the pieces of DLC there.
