Dear Game for windows,
I just want to say that for all the great game out there for the PC platform only a couple have achievements and some dlc available, so, I was goning to ask you guys at GFW if you can make the experence more like the 360! I'm asking that you have every upcomming game for windows game have the ability to have friends and achievements for more pc gamers to get more use out of their gamer cards. because I love GFWL but the choices and options are just so limited. I just wish to increece the amount of updates and DLC for games like xbox. and we would all like to see more achievemnts.

Sounds like what you really want is all the GFW games using Live.
If Live was a required part of GFW, then I think that there'd be less games with the GFW label rather than more developers using Live.
This is not up to Microsoft or the Games for Windows Live Team. It is the developers that make the games. The 360 has been a success because of the third party support the Xbox team has been giving. The amount of sales that third party games make is also a big incentive & makes developers turn their heads. If you want things to go the way 360 has, keep supporting this brand & tell your friends to do the same. Make the PC game sales become profitable then you will see a change in this platform.
Ok sorry but that is bull..."Make the PC game sales become profitable then you will see a change in this platform." i have purchased soooooo many 360 games, and even more pc games. to say that we need to buy more games for developers to use GFWL is bull... see i enjoy working towards beating monotonous goals in many 360 games because of the achievements, and when you get stuck or bored on something in a pc game, where you’re not trying to get all the achievements you simply skip it....it seems like putting GFWL achievements in all the new windows games would vastly increase the game play hours a user would get out of playing the game.
I am purchasing games for my Xbox that are available on my pc just to play achievements, which is stupid because my pc rocks with its multiple screens and super gpu,,,,developers would gain from creating GFWL titles,,,but they are too lazy. look at all the good pc games out there that are amazing but because evil developers ship games that run on unplayable multiplayer ports the gamers get shafted for buying the better looking but unplayable pc version over the 360..."saints row 2"...pc games seriously need to be approved by Microsoft just like 360 games...pc gamers is a bitter breed. Why do we get screwed oh so often with unfinished games.....idk..
I say Microsoft needs to put pressure on developers that want to make titles for 360 and pc to comply with equally polishing both versions of the game and to use achievements for pc if they wish to created the Xbox game...that way they can't make us wait 4 months longer for a screwed up pc version of the game that no one will play online.
If this happened you would see the pc become the superior gaming option, since it is obviously is a superior machine to any console. It would be a serious advantage for buying a pc than a mac...since the status quo is that pc games overall suck! ...overall...I <3 my pc but why do i get screwed for putting 2k a year into hardware.....why....
Haha I love this post. I am with you in the 2k department. I would love to see MS pressure some of these developers but this is not the time to do it. GFWL team needs & is doing a kind of nurturing to the developers. We need more games on this platform in order for it to be profitable/successful in the future. We can all thank Bethesda for making a lot of head room for us & there are some big names being dropped in the coming months. One being a brand new IP(B:AA), that is looking awesome.
It would be nice to see pressure being put on MS studios to drop some titles using the newest Live client. But MS studios looks at things in a backwards way. None of their last projects have sold well on this platform, so they tend to read the bookkeeper notes & abide by them. MS studios must be in a bad situation right now, they have disbanded multiple developers & there associated IP's. Instead of pressure being put onto things, how about MS rewarding this team with a bigger budget so that they can get back on track.

The GFW branded games without Live are pretty pointless lol.
WOOOOOW!! ok so i'm am so phyched to find that not only redfaction: g, but also batman and resident evil 5 are all going to have acheivements!!! I"m downloading Red faction right now eventhough i will be dissapointed with the lack of dedicated servers..but at least it will look awesome on my comp:) For the sole reason that batman and resident evil have achievements I will also pick those up this month for pc....Hopefully pc games will continue to come out with live achievements.....to bad games like saints row, and such still don't have them...but hopefully saints row 2 will!!!
