Guys and girls, just to let you know I'll be holding a Section 8 Event on Saturday 19th September at 22:00 GMT
The game is released on 11th of September so that gives everyone a couple of days to practice and get used to the game (for those of you that haven't played the beta). Just look for a game hosted by WarLokk1980 and join up. It would be nice if you could also post on this thread so I can get a rough idea of how many will be attending the event. As I don't know the details of the finished product (ie if it has ranked mode etc. the mode/option that it will be played on is yet to be announced.) I will confirm on the 4th September what type of game will be played. The only thing that you can be certain of is the date and time of the event. I look forward to seeing you all there!
I'm not going to buy it on the first day it's release because I haven't tried it.

What kind of work do you do?
Have had trouble activating the beta so I will probably try the demo before I decide to buy

I'm an assistant manager in a games store & I also do some free-lance journalism (PC hardware mainly, but have been know to do the odd game review)

Depends how good you are tbh. If you vare good enough to always have something on the go, then yeah it pays quite well. Perks can be good too, covering various shows, promo stuff etc

It's not the beta, it will be on the full game on September 6th 2009. The game is released on September 4th.

Due to delays in the release I have had to adjust the date of the event (Thanks SlushBunny) So it will now be help on the 19th September at 22:00 British Standard Time. Although it's not my fault, I apologise for the inconvenience caused.
