I think that is were we are having trouble. I am probably being too technical for you because you seem to not understand when I give suggestions.
Steam The Baron: Sadly, because of the same that the router and modem are set up in the computer room, I would have a very hard time compleatly de-plugging my entire computer and moving it, and even then I doubt the cable would be long enough to reach.

The reason I suggest this, it is the easiest way to trouble shoot what is going on. Without doing that we can be here for weeks trying things. If you can acomplish this task then it will give us the exactly where the problem lies. It will either be with your network hardware or within the software of the PC.
Steam The Baron:And even if that happened I would be confused as to which cable to plug in, It has 3 slots at the back in which 2 are currently in use:
What is the manufacturer of your router, the model name, and the hardware revision?
Steam The Baron:However, I have never updated any Firmware since buying my PC in 2005, and have since rebuilt the entire thing with the exception of the monitor and hard drive. Where could I upgrade it?
It seems that your setup consists of a Motorola cable modem, SB5100i that is connected to a Netgear router & the PC is connected wirelessly to the router. The Netgear router needs to be configured if it hasn't been already. The pictures that you posted does not give any insite to where you are entering this information. Give me the model number & hardware revision of your netgear router & I can give you some step by step.
Ok, my router is:
Manufactured by: Netgear
Model Number: WGR614
Hardware Revision: v6
Also, to make this quicker do you have some form of Instant-Messanger program (E.g MSN, Skype) that you wouldn't mind using? I'd be willing to use either
You can PM me through this site. Try disabling UPNP in the router & port forwarding all the ports that hotchilli1327 suggested.

Also, if you haven't done this yet, run the Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool at MSFT. Do a google search on "internet connectivity" and it will be the first link result. Make sure you use IE as MSFT really likes their web processes to run on their browser.
Let us know the results.
Disabled UPnP in my router and re-forwarded the ports using "Port Forwarding v2.55". Still had a connection error and I got another standard connection issue code.
Have you checked to see if "Port Forwarding v2.55" is actually making changes on your router.
To login into your router type in the address bar. http://www.routerlogin.net
http://kbserver.netgear.com/pdf/wgr614v6_ref_man_20Apr05.pdf is the manual of your router, there is a lot of answers in there. MTU, Port Triggering/UPNP setup, and the default username/password to your router, just to name a few important areas.
Port Forwarding v2.55 has defiently added those exceptions to my router, and I still have UPnP off.
Also downloaded the manual, thanks for the link.
Have you tried plugging the modem in to the PC with a direct connection? Possibly a using a longer ethernet wire.
The Ethernet cable is currently being used to connect the Wireless router into the Modem.
I also don't think that I have a longer Ethernet cable.
I would strongly recomend preforming a direct connection to see if it is the Router or the PC that is causing the issue

Have you also considered that the Router is bad? Try eastmanblues suggestion as cable is very cheap.
While I would consider buying some cheap wire, I am not going to for a few reasons. I also recently got more information which should help.
1: I am not paying money so that I can figure out why a Game I bought doesn't work, my computer has the specs, and my router works fine with every other game I play online with. It will not be a bad router because of this.
2: It DID work before the "their is only war update" and the GFWL update that came with it. When these updates were installed it STOPPED working online. Therefore it is NOT the router, as it used to be fine with the game, but either the PATCH or GFWL.
Also, new information:
My IP router is a Netgear WGR614 v6.
My IP address is NOT static but dynamic, it also cannot change to static due to a "That DNS address is not correct, please enter a correct one!".
My Network adapter is apparently a different model to my router.
ROUTER INFO FROM COMMAND PROMPT:
Physical Address: 00-24-8C-29-B1-53
Dhcp Enabled: Yes
Autoconfiguration Enabled: Yes
Lease Obtained: 7.11.09 10:07:50
Lease Expires: 7.11.09 10:07:50
I'd have included Subnet address, my IP address and the like, but that would not be safe.
Ok, so it sounds like some file corruption issues. Are the other games you are talking about GFWL games?
Did you do a comple uninstall and reinstall of the game?
If the update or patch corrupted the game you will have to do this.
Also uninstalling and reinstalling the Client and .Net framework may be in the works.
With .Net framework, after uninstalling, instal from the ground up in correct order in terms of each version. start with the first version, make sure you install al of it's updates then move on to the next version etc.

Honestly, all that is required is to move your PC right next to the modem. Take the wire that is plugged into the router & plug it into your PC. At most this would take about a hour. Then we could move to troubleshooting the specific area, instead of providing the most general information.
While I agree that no router is bad, necessarily. Routers can & do have NAT issues right out of the box. That sometimes cannot be resolved, without replacement, or firmware upgrade. Often times a certain hardware/software version may have issues with port forwarding, UPNP, DMZ, etc. This is why we need to circumvent what is going on, by way of directly connecting.

In saying this, you probably have some kind of corruption issue or bad game. Trouble shooting can be tedious and if you aren't willing to help us, how can we help you? That is the nature of PC's!
So many different configurations and hardware that trouble shooting can be hair pulling!
In saying this, do what you are able and easy to do first like my last post mentions. Start simple and work your way up the ladder so to speak.
