I purchased Broken Steel and downloaded it. In 'My Media' on the GFWLIVE website it indicates that the add-on was installed on 8/1/2009. However, I don't see it in my AppData\Local\Microsoft\GFWLive\Downloads directory. That directory is completely empty.
The add-on does not activate in the game (probably because it is not actually there :-). I'm certainly willing to download the content again but the only option offered on the website is "Delete", which I am reluctant to click on as I've seen no posts indicating what the result would be if I deleted it. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.
This is a copy of Fallout that was installed via disc. It has been upgraded to 1.7. I am running Vista. I have tried running the game with the GFWLIVE client running but this does not help.
When you are at the main menu of Fallout 3, when you hit the home button do you see your friends list? If you do not, you need to log into your profile after you have purchased the DLC to unlock it. Also make sure that the quest "Take it back" is not activated yet, if it has then you will likely have to revert to a earlier save that does not have this quest active.
