My system specs are as follows 4GB Ram 32 bit (will run 64 bit) amd turion dual core Nvidia geforce 8200m g total available graphics memory 1407mb dedicated graghics memory 256mb vista premium. Im playing the game online on the lowest settings but it looks naff and has framerate issues my question is if i upgraded to 64 bit vista would it make any difference to the performance of the game maybe allowing me to increase the settings.

You problem is the dedicated 8200. You need a better video card

What? If you have a 32 bit OS then you can't run 64 bit processes plain and simple. However a 64 bit OS can run 32 bit processes.

Also you'll be able to run the game, but probably not well.

You will be able to run the game.  The graphics you have may limit the resolution you will be a blt to play at, but you will be able to run it.

As for his memory, he is utilizing 3.2 to 3.5 GB of it.  More than satisfactory on a Vista machine.

As for the 64 bit version of the O/S, if you have a free upgrade to it, it can't hurt to have it, and yes some games and programs will utilize this, but it will have little affect on Shadowrun as it is not optimized for 64-bit.  It does however utilize the dual core processor, so you are fine as is.
