I think the played live games should be taken out of the marketplace section and put onto the menu bar section on it's own.

Then when we go onto this section instead of showing demo's, videos and add ons couldn't it be used instead to show our achievements and online game saves instead.

It would also be nice to have an option for gears of war to backup our current gamesaves as the game doesn't save the games online so that if we have to re install the game or windows we could then restore the gamesaves upon re installation of game and client.

Actually you've given a couple of extremely good and very needed ideas!

I still don't understand why we can't have a true desktop client that allows us AT LEAST to see our friends.

I mean, Xbox.com gets the job done for some, but... really? Are we gonna be bound forever to that website? Most users don't even know Xbox's LIVE and GfW LIVE is connected!

Has someone in this forum said. Unless we pay money to MS. We won't get anything we ask.

Uh... the desktop client DOES make money for Microsoft. It already sells DLC content along with other free stuff.

They took the time to make a client, why not just add the functionality that is already built into the in-game client? After all, seeing what your friends are playing also promotes more sales by advertising the name of that game.

Do we really need to pay Microsoft a monthly fee in order to get advertising?

Get real, Epic... I'm not asking for avatars or Facebook integration, just a plain, simple friends list just like the also free Windows Live Messenger is.

it would be good if the xbox friends list could be made available in a tab on live messenger like it is in the US of A and Japan.
