I don't understand why microsoft sell games in Brazil if we can't play it. This is stealing money. I know people who bought a Xbox 360 but can't play online because they registered a Brazil account.
Guys please try to understand LIVE is not required to play the game. LIVE is bonus online feature which is not available in all regions unfortunately.
but i already played red faction g single player, i just wanted to buy it because of the mulplayer!
He bought the game, he have a US account, but he can't connect, he is getting "can not connect to live" Is nothing to do with the region...
Hey guys, I've been playing RFG since the day it came out for PC and I've been loving it. But suddenly today when I tried to play it, GFWL tells me I can't log in. And I know GFWL is still up and working, and that my info is right because I actually went and logged into GFWL outside of the game. So as I have GFWL open on my computer, the game tells me I can't connect to GFWL somehow... When it tells me I can't connect I click "network status" and it shows my network adapter to be "Hamachi (Registry Override)" And though I'm not entirely sure what that means, I'm pretty sure that's not right. Now I've had hamachi since waaaay before I got the game so I don't know why it would suddenly be trying to mess with it. and I've tried turning hamachi off. I have no idea what to do and I'm desperate to get this fixed. So if you guys could help me out I'd really appreciate it!

Hard Work has pays off in the future....LaZyNess pay off NOW
Qwerty all the way!
Is this a Steam game?
You may have to go to Steam and do a manual update. Give it a try.
Try this advice by Given to Fly, it's pretty much the best way to handle updates on Steam:
GivenToFly11: 'Automatic Updates' updates the Steam client itself. Before you waste $50 (if you can't return it) let's try a few things. First thing first. Right click DoW II (on your Steam Games menu) and click on Updates. Does it say 'Always keep this game up to date'?If not check that, restart the Steam client, and check if the game is updating. If it already is on 'Always keep this....', do this next. Click on 'Verify game cache' in the 'Local Files' tab. Once it is finished run the game. If nothing, exit Steam entirely, restart your computer, start Steam, and see if DoW II is updating. If not launch it. If again it doesn't work uninstall the game via right clicking the icon and 'Delete Local Content.' Before doing so I recommend doing this to keep your saved games. Go into Documents, My games, Dawn of War 2, Saved games. ^ Back up everything in that folder. Now once you uninstall it go into your Steam folder and delete the DoW II folder entirely. Restart and reinstall your game.

That's pretty much how I've always handled my troublesome Steam games, and following these steps have worked for me for years now.
