well once again good old windows live sign in problems every time theres an update theres a sign problems as if there is enough problems with installing the game and messing a round with the
IV.EFC20FIX_1.0.4

Eight weeks a go i installed windows 7 trial i am know able to dual boot either windows 7 ultimate 64 bit or xp pro 32 bit

i have gta iv installed on both xp & ultimate so i can play 64 bit or 32 bit i bourght a radeon hd 4870 2gb graphics card so i could enjoy the full graphics of the game on xp 32 bit
i have to keep droping my settings down as i keep being cut off on line ( your router settings are to restrict ) on ultimate 64 bit i can keep the game settings on max and still play
on line no problem

a few weeks passed by and then games for windows live need to be updated on xp no problems on windows 7 i can no longer login
this message keeps apearing

cant connect to live you may be attempting to connect with an incompartible network card make sure your network drivers are up-to-date and try again

(so i checked all my drivers yea all up to date)

ie

internet Ip not signed in
system link address not active
upnp not signed in

in w7 Control Panel under Windows Firewall option in the top left corner if you click on
allow a program or feature throught windows firewall there is a new window called allow programes to ,communicate through windows firewall
ie ( Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Firewall )

you can chose to add change or remove allowed programs and ports
so i allowed grand theft auto iv games for windows-live & games for windows-live client to communicate through windows firewall with the settings home/work/private & public
re booted the pc still can not signin

so then i disabelled the w7 firewall re booted the pc again still can not signin


i do think its my router thats causing this problem as ive all ready said under xp theres not a problem

origanally when i installed w7 gta iv had no probes signing in to be honest i am now at a loss as what to do
if anyone has any ideas i would be grateful


and before anyone asks my gta is gen copy and the only crack i use if you can call it a crack is the IV.EFC20FIX_1.0.4 as other wise the game wont play

( uk@rockstarsupport.com responce is we dont support w7 )

( ive spent more time F******G around with these game than playing it )
