It has been known that it is a LIVE game for a while now. Even the official site posted before you about it being a live game :p

Some things you can't explain :P
It was a pritty interesting game once you got into it, but once you finished the game, theres not really any insentive to go through it again. Part of me wanted to go through it again for the alternate ending and achievements but the rest of me was like "Meh not worth the time". The sequal does look good but i probably wont get it until it drops in price since its not a game thats on my "OMG I MUST GET" list
