Ok, so I just put Gears of War on my PC and when i try to log onto gfwl it asks me for the serial number. I've been searching for this for a while and I can't find it. Soooo, can anyone who has the game tell me where it is?

um its inside your gears of war game case/box.........its a big yellow sticker (kinda sketchy of you asking where is your serial......but i'll give you benefit of the doubt and assuming the serial key was missing from the case) Hmm

basicly with GoW, it would be a yellow sticker just underneath where the DVD would go, if it looks like it was ripped off, id suggest talking to the guy you bought it from as you will not be able to connect to live without it, however single player offline you should still be able to play

not really, simply because you still bought it through ebay, which is an unauthorized distributor, and you are not the origional owner. and they will need not only a proof of purchase but they will need the origional Product key before they can even look into the issue. so sorry to say but you are pritty much SOL, providing the person you bought it from cant help you.

As Darkest said, never buy used/ from Ebay.

If it was factory sealed, it would seem logical that if the sticker was torn then there would be more then just a scrap in the case, the part that was torn off would be stuck to the manual, disc etc.

Maybe torn off in factory? Its possible but since I don't know how the machine puts on the sticker or if its a person that puts it on but still, it was still factory sealed >.> And that doesn't make any sense, if i need a serial code how can i give microsoft a serial code >.>

well you could try GFWL support up but i dunno, granted if its factory sealed then you shouldnt be having this issue, but ive never heard of that happening before. but the main reason i say you may be SOL is due to you purchasing it through Ebay, making you not the origional owner and thats an unauthorized retailer.  let me know how it goes.

a couple of things, one if it is in the case even partially, then the case has been opened, it isn't rocket science to reseal a case.

regardless, you need to contact the person you bought it from, if he is unwilling to make good, then report him to ebay, that is absolutely a must so he doesn't do this to someone else, which is highly likely.

I hope you paid less than $10 for it, because if he isn't going to make good, you are probably out your money unless ebay is able to force him to refund your money.

going to LIVE support and asking them for key is not going to work, especially since you did not buy it from an authorized dealer.

But mostly follow through with ebay, that is your best option here.
