DX11? That's interesting.

That should allow me to get a 5870 before getting Win 7.

I'll check for windows update tonight.

EDIT: Well it seems I actually already have this update. Cool.

I checked my settings on Wins 7, it says my Nividia 9800 GTX+ is a direct x 11.

Can't wait for Final Fantasy XIII!

if you are looking on the DXdiag screen, that just lists which version of DX you have on your system.

to check which version of DX you GPOU can run you need to do the following

go to the start menu, right click on my computer & select properties. In the system properties screen, select `windows experience index`

on the window that pops up, select `view & print detailed system & performance information.

this then brings up a screen with you index score & dteiled info underneath. your graphics info is towards the bottom

Nevermind, still a 10 lol.  But I don't think I will get a DX11 card anytime soon.  My card's still kicking *** and I just got this computer this year so yeah.  I'll probably get it when its cheaper and a lot of games supporting it.

Can't wait for Final Fantasy XIII!

this diag only shows the version of directx installed in vista. not what version of directx your card is compatible with.
