Gamerscore on the PC is not serious business.

well, when you get achievements offline, they just say acquired on the xbox
You should not worry too much about that, if this is what he considers "gaming' then pity him.
The beautiful thing about PC achievements are the stories you can tell about how you got them. His would be something like "I ran this patcher, or I copied over this save... and then I needed a sock..."
Yeah, it sucks. But all achievement "systems" have people like this. As long as you are satisified with the achievements you have gotten, everything else is fluff.

There is an achievement in Dead or Alive 4 (XBOX 360) in which you get a *pity-achievement worth a whooping 0 GS points just because you got your a55ed kicked 5 consecutive times online..........When that happened, it kinda made me cry deep inside.....It was the first time I ever seen that happen.......not the getting my a55 kicked in a fighting game part.........its getting the pity achievement part...........its like the developers were making a mockery of my skills.....which I guess they kinda were.

Many people (mostly russians) are using a tool called Live Achieve, basically gives all achievements for the game with the click of a button on your keyboard. Thats why I gave up with my gamerscore.
their are only a few achievments i could use help from but mostly i want to earn them but some are a pain
It just shows how sad people are in this world.
Just use the file compliant thing. I've done it quite a few times latley in red faction since there seems to be a huge number of new russian, or eastern european players already at 1000
Would not worry about it, am sure MS will ban all these losers as the same Xbox team handle the GFWL cheaters as well so give it time and they will show up on the report then get the 0 GS cheaters gamercard as they are not very smart people by unlocking all achievements on the same date will show up easily and make it simple to find and delete their accounts.

that sounds like a good tool to get the achievements in juiced 2 that the game wouldn't give me. Even though I finished the game.
Seriously i look like a noob with the 0 gamerscore in this game even though I have been through it not once but twice. and yes i was logged into live.
The best worthless achievement I ever got was one worth 0GS for not killing anyone in Section 8 yet not dying "Conciensious Objector"
Why is it that much of a problem to some that there are people around, who're getting their achievements in this lame way? I'm not saying it's right or that they shouldn't get reset by Microsoft, but it doesn't mean anything for your gamerscore.
But, like Jedimaster mentioned, it would be interesting to know if there's a way to get the glitched achievements from Juiced, for example. If this tool is capable of unlocking the online achievements for that game, I don't see why us fair players still can not.
