I have none but they look so fun!

If I was to get one which would you recommend buying for beginners or for people that are just looking to have fun?

well actually i'm not sure at the moment. That is why i'm asking what people have. Just to see if any new ones that are available are any good.

As far as I know the last good military flight sim was falcon 4.

jane's f15 was remarkable detailed and full on.

as were the DID f22 series.

commanche 3 was fun as was european air war in being able to get straight in and look for a fight.

I played the demo of battlestations pacific and enjoyed some of the flying stuff in that demo.

Will pick it up when I get some spare cash.

yeah but what was your last PC simulator?

I want this thread to be only about PC only discussion. I don't want to hear about any console FS's. Only PC.

I want to know what might be good to look out for on PC.

I have MIcrosoft Flight Sim X.  But I haven't played that in months.  My favorite flying game is the Ace Combat series.

Crimson Skies on the xbox was awesome.

I have Microsoft Flight Simulator 3 or is it 4? It is on a floppy I think...

the most recent flight sim games I've played were

Heroes over the Pacific

and

HAWX

both were demos, I tend to like the Space Sim arena a little more.
