Looks awesome I remember when time ago NVIDIA said that could render a movie with a graphics card... and  Dreamworks? or another company aswered saying that if could render toy story in a NVIDIA card, why mantain a render farm?.. (of course that those comments shut up nvidia) but is interesting that 10 years after the supercomputing resides in GPUs not in CPUs... and seems that in the future.. nvidia will be right!

The bugatti veyron seems like a real picture.

can you imagine a tri-sli or quad-sli with that thing?

not that there is any software that will utilize it, yet.

the thing i like about it is the cgpu,  it does some things that proccessors usually do in gaming which helps old pc's not bottleneck from having an older cpu great feature nvidia.

yeah i was reading that the other day and it looks like it is going to be a really good chip.

Apparently you can write in straight c or c++ to the gpu.

Update: These scenes are actually taken from a promotional video for Playground Festival -- an AudioArts/Motion Graphics event in the Netherlands. We're not sure if Fermi is actually rendering these scenes in real-time (and even so, it's still texture mapping, and not ray-tracing), or if Nvidia was just using screenshots from the source video to demonstrate the promise of Fermi.
