Hello everybody!
I want to play GTA IV again since a few months ago and I cant connect to GWL.
First, it says that a new update is available and when I try to apply that patch, it says cant connect, check your internet connection and blah blah blah...
Second, I have downloaded the latest patch for GTA IV and GWL manually.
Third, After doing that, I'm still having problems connecting to GWL.
Fourth, the error is 0X80072751
Help me please :(

Bah you beat me while I was reading some threads on this error.
Anyways, I would suggest verifying that you have the required ports opened & performing a TCP/IP reset http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357. Also awnser Eastman's question could be a important factor as well.
I'm from Chile with a Original copy of this game
