You dont know what happend to me ! 2 months ago! Well.. 2 months ago when i was in holidays in a greek island i met a beautiful girl! We were staying at the same hotel. When i saw her i realized that i have see her before.. but i couldnt remeber where! And then , 1 month ago one day when i was out in my area for a walk i met her! See? we live in the same area that why i was sure that i have seen her before.. And then, she came and talked to me!! She told me that she likes me and wants to become friends with me.... I was very happy.. But for some reason i didnt ask her to give me her email or phone and i havent met her from then... She is 28 and i am 21 and also she is very beautiful.... I dont know what to do to find her!!!Can someone help me pleaase? Do you have any ideas about how can i find her???

I'm going to assume you've all seen at least one skateboarding dog video in your lifetimes. If not, welcome to the internet. This rather obvious viral ad for Tony Hawk: Ride plays off the skateboarding dog phenomenon, starting off slightly plausible before building up to completely ridiculous.

Funny story from our sun-drenched friends at GIzmodo Brazil; today, November 18, 2009, Sony have decided to begin officially selling the PlayStation 2 in Brazil.

It's priced at R$799, which works out to be around USD$465. So, yes, it's expensive to buy video games in Brazil. Our man Pedro tells us that with a nine year-old console only just launching, there obviously isn't an official PS3 presence, though he says Sony do sell some older PS3 games. For R$199 (USD$115).

Ever wanted to know why piracy was rife in South America, those prices might get you in the right direction.

Modern Warfare 2: PC Versus 360

How does the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 compare to the console versions? I spent some time with the game on the Xbox 360 and Steam to find out.

The single player experience in the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game is largely the same, with a few obvious differences. There's the controller layout of course, and being a PC gamer long before I was a console gamer I will always be much more comfortable with a keyboard and trackball mouse than I ever will be with a standard Xbox 360 controller. I could argue that it allows for better accuracy, but it seems to me at least that the hit boxes are skewed more towards console gamers in the PC version, meaning that accuracy isn't as important as it is in more PC-centric titles.

The graphics seem a tad bit sharper on my PC, but that could just as well be a factor of the clarity of my monitors and the fact that my current gaming rig - an Intel Core i7 2.6GHz with 6GB of RAM and dual GeForce GTX 275's - is a bit beefier than what I'm used to playing on. It really isn't a huge difference, however, so I wouldn't call either side the winning one graphically.

Basically, as far as single player is concerned, the games are relatively similar. Which brings us to the multiplayer side of things.

The PC version of Modern Warfare 2 has of course gotten a great deal of flack from the PC community for imposing console player-limits and removing the ability to create dedicated servers for online multiplayer, a feature that's been standard in previous games in the series.

This having been said, the PC version loses a point to the Xbox 360 as far as local multiplayer options go, with the ability to network multiple 360 consoles together via System Link. There are no LAN options for Modern Warfare 2, and of course no split-screen multiplayer either, so the console is coming out on top so far.

Aside from the LAN options and a few smaller details, such as PC text chat, that's where the differences end, which I suppose is why many PC gamers are incensed. The PC version features the same, network-controlled matchmaking system as the Xbox 360 version, without any of the advanced controls that PC players are used to. You can still set up a private game and tweak options like number of lives and friendly-fire, but for the most part it's click, join, and go.

As for reports of the PC version being open to cheaters and hackers, I've yet to see an instance of obvious cheating in my brief time on Steam, though in all fairness I do spend an awful lot of time dying.

As a PC gamer myself, I find the lack of dedicated servers to be frustrating, but then I am also a console gamer, so this is the sort of thing I've gotten used to over the past few years. When all is said and done, it's a matter of personal perception whether the system is inferior or not. Should you feel slighted for getting what is essentially the same thing on both platforms? That's completely up to you.

Keep in mind that I'm not the most dedicated or skilled Modern Warfare 2 player by a long shot, and your personal experiences with the two different versions may vary. If they do, they by all means, tell us.

So Infinity Ward ditched dedicated servers for the PC version of Modern Warfare 2, eh? It's of little consequence, as it hasn't taken hackers long to enable a workaround, bringing the feature back.

And here it is, in action. With predictable shenanigans in tow. Whether it's actually better than IW's present solution is another matter, but really, that was never the point here. No, the point was just to show IW's decision could be reversed, and that point has been made.

CD/DVD Drive Does not read discs?

I have a problem with my CD/DVD drive. It does not read discs anymore. I was trying to put the Halo 2 disc in but it just doesn't read it. I see the green light blinking. And I hear the disc spinning but it still doesn't read it. The My Computer program freezes when I try to open it and see if it read the disc. I have turned off autoplay. I have just installed Vista (SP2), is that the problem? The discs aren't bad, I tried them in another PC and they worked fine. I just bought a fresh anti-virus CD and it did not read it. After I rebooted my PC and re-inserted the disc twice, it worked.

The first gametype – “gtnw” – is Global Thermonuclear War. To play, simply capture the objective: a nuclear bomb. When captured, the bomb detonates…

The second gametype – “oneflag” – is One Flag CTF. To play, capture the flag in the middle and bring it back to your base.

The third gametype – “vip” – is VIP. To play, defend the VIP. Or, if you’re on the other team, kill the VIP.
These gametypes were only tested on Afghan and Favela. They may not work for all maps.”

So it seems we have finally identified the DLC that Activision/IW wanted to pimp to us. It has been right in the game all along.

Oh IW, first the console, then lean and all the other stuff, sometimes I think you do this on purpose, like you know Kotick is a retard and the only way you can pull one over on him is doing stuff like this.
