how do you create an offline profile? are you still able to save the game when it prompts you for it?

try updating the drivers for your video card. i had the same problem and that fixed the visuals for me.

when you click on icon to play game, upper right corner has your login info, click logout, then hit play button, pop up message says you can't play online without logging in to social club, hit ok, then hit play button again, game will play just fine now! you'll just have to wait to play multiplayer until they get their server fixed.

so i got a hold of rockstar in the u.k. they walked me through a diagnostic tool check, looking at service pack version and driver updates and so on. i have now updated my video and audio drivers, but it did not make the game start working. i didn't figure it would. i have nvidia 8500 gt and windows vista. they told me to call back if it didn't
