I don't think english or american users have the problem which means that bringing up the hotfix link was pointles unless you have english windows. Ahh that sucks.

This is so Microsoft... I'm from Poland and there were issues with LIVE so I can go with the offline profile but deadlock gB and v1tru are from Germany which IS ON THE LIST and they have the same problem. Now what wise guy?

Games for Windows Live service IS or at least appears to be available in Poland because we were able to create accounts and select "Poland" as our location. I opened all ports mentioned in few different places regarding Games for Windows LIVE application and nothing. Additionally I've tested all this on Win XP and Vista Ultimate 32bit

First of all asking users to open all ports is in my opinion a sad joke. It might not be the hotfix related problem but it's not a firewall/router issue (at least it doesn't look like it) because when trying to log in using fkae e-mail address, application informs that there is no such account which means it connected to the LIVE server and

Same here. I can log in on xbox.com just fine. Trying to log in using LIVE application simply fails. There is a link in that error message. When I click it it tries to log me in on xbox.com and fails. It looks like it's trying to use wrong credentials no idea why...

That may be true but I for instance have a problem with logging in after ignoring that update alert. Credentials that I use work fine on all MS Live websites but when I try go log in using the LIVE software i got an login error with number: 80154017. There's an info too. It says that there is a problem that has to be solved before logging in. Now
