I bought today the expansion for Fallout 3, Operation Anchorage and downloaded just fine, problem comes when i try to install it, sometimes i get it to install but it seems to be stuck, it says installing but can be like that for an hour long. Sometimes i get an error and at the end this code:(0x800B0003)

When i open games for windows it tells me i need to apply a revision, it directs me to a page saying i will get this problem: 0x800B0003) and i need to download this:

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=135771

But when i do i just get an error saying my windows it's in another language...

Is there any way to find the download on the PC and somehow install it on fallout 3 directory?

I Alredy asked this but i'm not getting a live team member answer, i don't want to change anything on the regedit or mess with my computer, maybee give me a link so i can e-mail customer service or something. I bought it this morning and today at 8:00 PM i still don't have a clue why i cannot install something i bought, give me a hand please, thx.

Ensure that all of your region settings are set correctly for the region that you are in, and you should be provided with the correct hotfix.

Making assumptions based on your posting and your location, here are the links to two different versions of the hotfix.

The issue addressed here is pretty much the same one I am experiencing. And the thing is, unlike on most pages in the MS download center, there's no drop-box where you can actually select your installed language. Is there a comprehensive list of language versions, like the English and spanish ones you've linked to? Personally, I'd like a Dutch hotfix, since my XP is a Dutch one.

I'm sorry, but that's a dead link. It doesn't lead anywhere.

And by 'that' I mean the last link, provided by GFWModerator

I've got the same trubble, the linked version gives me a swedish version that tells me in swedish that the updatebr.inf file is incorrect and won't finish.

the ENU i sopouse its English(US) it says in english the the .updatebr.inf file is incorrect, and just for the fun of it i tried the spanish version and the dutch version but they say in respective language that the updatebr.inf file is incorrect and will not finish.

I'm runing the WindowsXP 64-bit English version, in Sweden. Don't ask me why, not my call.

I am having the exact same problem on the same version of windows. I don't think the link is compatible with 64. I can't find any other option though

I'm getting the same problem too.

I'm in Canada, and also have XP-64. I'm assuming this is another microsoft avoiding XP-64 in light of Vista situation.

Rather than clicking the link, what happens when you click Yes to the "you need an update" dialog that shows when you start the client?

I don't ever see that dialog.
