I am trying to uninstall Age Of Empires 2: Age Of Kings. I was trying to get setup to play multiplayer online, but I couldn't install the latest patch as the game said I wasn't using a legal retail copy (except I was). So, I tried to uninstall and re-install. The uninstaller loads, but doesn't make any progress and eventually freezes. I tried using the control panel -> Add/remove programs method as well as start -> Age Of Empires -> Uninstall Age Of Empires 2 both result in the uninstaller freezing. I have rebooted my system, the uninstaller still freezes. The disc is in my pc while trying to uninstall.
Any help?
This will probably be closed because my game is very out dated, but hopefully i can find some help here as it is a Microsoft Game..
Try the windows install cleanup utility, I couldnt uninstall ATI drivers or install new 1's, worked for me
