Can't connect due to region error, even though I'm in a supported region

I live in New Zealand, and Street Fighter 4 was released on the 3rd of this month for us.

The official live release date seemed to be the 7th, so when i couldn't connect to live due to "You may be using a Windows Live ID from a region that is not supported by LIVE" I figured I'd wait until the 7th to find out.

However, my friends who got the game have managed to log on and play online! I tried opening all the LIVE ports, enabling UPnP and made another windows live id with region set to USA to no avail... I even got my friend (whose live id DID manage to connect on street fighter) and even then I still got the region error.

I also downloaded the games for windows live client and could log into that perfectly.

Also tried deleting the game saves folder, and typed in GFWL access code twice :(

Can anyone help?

New Zealand is supported :- http://forums.gamesforwindows.com/t/2848.aspx

The game is released on July 2nd on Japan, July 3rd on EU and July 7th on NA.

Do you have any other LIVE game?. OR is SF 4 is the only LIVE game you have?. Try getting a new LIVE account.

Normally when users are erroneously getting this error it is because they have xfire running while trying to sign in.  Do you use xfire?

Nope I don't. I fixed the issue though, by doing some netsh reset in the command prompt. This also helped my friend who kept disconencting every 5 minutes. Thanks for the help everyone :)
