I just got all the DLC and it installed and works fine. There are no gameplay issues so far but now whenver I hit "exit game" the app freezes and I need to CTL-ALT-DEL to close Fallout. What's going on?
Thats an issue they know about, it only happens if you have broken steel (which I guess you have)
I get the crash even though Broken Steel quests are no longer showing up in my pip boy. "Broken Steel" really is broken!
Ugh I've heard that too many times. What I do is just exit to the menu and then open up task manager when in the Fo3 menu.
Why not do that while in game you may ask? While playing it puts a strain on your computer upping your CPU usage. The menu is less graphically intense and therefor puts less strain on the computer.
From task manager you just click end task, if your computer freezes up either wait for 1-30 minutes or try deleting the Fallout 3 process under processes.
Also, if it freezes getting to task manager, you probably should upgrade your computer
