So, I'm just dropping in to look for some help- I'm trying to download Broken Steel, but the download has been stuck calculating the download size for the past three hours or so. I allowed both Fallout 3 and GFWL through my firewall.

As for the second problem, I seem to have cleared it up! Huh. I don't have a clue which of the things I did worked.

Calculating the download size means the port 3074 on your router isnt open

By that, do you mean making sure the port is forwarded? If not, can you point me at something that'd show me how to open it?

You'd have to get into your router (type 192.168.1.1 or x.100 in your browser), go to "port forwarding" or something similar, put in your IP adress (start>run>"cmd">"ipconfig") and the start and end point of the ports you want forwarded (in your case just 3074).

If you have a problem and don't speak English well, send me an email or a message through the Live guide in Dutch, German, French or Danish.

I already went and did that, and it's still calculating download size.

Looks like all I had to do was cancel and retry the download. Thanks for your help, guys.
