I have googled this and could not find an answer. I have Fallout3 GFW , bought it the day it came on the market , but there is no LIVE on the case . In the game menu , i have LIVE but when i press it nothing happens . Have updated to last version , it's still the same . Do i have to buy the game again to benefit LIVE ? I want the achievements and stuff ...
And if it is so , it sucks . Because if i have to buy the game again just to have this installed, i will skip for sure :(
Hmm, very strange, it actually ties in with some weirdness I've seen here in Romania (non-Live supported country): when Fallout came out, it had a box with the LIVE logo...upon seeing it again in a store last week, there was a box without a LIVE logo!
So it would seem that MS is starting to segregate its physical markets, which would really suck...
They also sell such versions in Ukraine and Russia (from 1C).
Well it sucks then , at least they should tell you when you buy it , this is a different from original version .
And i do not understand why MS is not extending LIVE in RO and such . They do wanna fight piracy , but they do not offer the same things for us as it is for the rest of the world . Then of course i won't pay the same money for something less , i won't pay at all . gg ms !

MS is thick headed idiots. They don't give out the reasons. I don't know why they want to restrict GFWL if they restrict XBL that is fine but when it comes to PC Gaming Community it should be open worldwide and PC gaming is especially very very active in Russia, Europe and Asia.
Saying they are fighting piracy is laughable.
