AS I HAVE COME TO KNOW PLAYING THESE PAST 2 YEARS, GEARS PC IS RIDDLED WITH CHEATERS.
THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO USE AIMBOTS ALL OVER THE PLACE.
FINALLY, I FOUND A WAY TO MAKE THEM PAY!
FIRST, LET'S GET AN UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT AN AIMBOT IS AND WHAT IT DOES IN GEARS OF WAR PC.
AN AIMBOT IS AN AUTO-AIMER: IT AIMS, YOU SHOOT, MAKING YOU LOOK FLAWLESS IN SNIPER BATTLES.
IN GEARS PC, IT MAKES GAMEPLAY UNFAIR, AND ON SOME MAPS, DOWNRIGHT IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT.
HOW TO SPOT AN AIMBOT:
1. YOU'RE THE LAST PERSON LEFT, HE GOES STRAIGHT TO WHERE YOU ARE. I'M TALKING NOT ONCE, BUT EVERY SINGLE TIME.
2. WHEN ON HIS TEAM AND YOU ARE DEAD, YOU'LL NOTICE WHEN VIEWING THROUGH ANOTHERS PLAYER, HE'S TWITCHING LIKE CRAZY, VIBRATING ALL OVER THE PLACE AS HE AIMS WITH HIS SNIPER.
3. YOU ARE BEHIND A WALL, YOU RUN TO THE OTHER END, AND HE SOMEHOW MAGICALLY KNOWS YOU WENT THAT WAY.
4. YOU ARE SNEAKING BEHIND HIM TO SHOOT HIM UP. ONCE YOU REACH ABOUT 5 FEET AWAY, HE'LL TURN AROUND WITH A 180 AND AWAY WITH YOUR HEAD.
(NOW FOR THE FUN TEST)
5. LET'S SAY YOU SUSPECT SOMEONE USING AN AIMBOT ON THE OTHER TEAM, HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY DETERMINE HE CHEATS. SIMPLE, WHEN DEEP UNDER COVER OR BEHIND A WALL(MAKE SURE HE CAN'T SEE YOU). PAUSE YOUR GAME OR PRESS THE HOME KEY TO BRING UP THE MENU. THAT'S RIGHT, PAUSE YOUR GUY. THIS IS WHERE THE FUN BEGINS.
INITIALLY HE'LL STILL BE AIMING AT YOU, BUT KEEP YOUR GAME PAUSED, THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN HE'LL PANIC.
ONE OF TWO THINGS OCCUR:
1. HE'LL SHOOT WAY ABOVE YOU, LIKE CRAZY HIGH.
2. HE'LL START ROTATING HIS GUY LIKE MAD TRYING TO FIND YOU, BECAUSE TO HIS AIMBOT, HE'S THE ONLY ONE LEFT.
ANY NORMAL PERSON WOULDN'T DO THIS AT ALL, PLUS, IT'S A GREAT WAY TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK WITH THE AIMBOTS.
WARNING: ONCE YOU UNPAUSE, DEPENDING ON THE LAG, YOU'LL HAVE 1 TO 2 SECONDS BEFORE HIS AIMBOT STARTS POINTING TO YOU AGAIN.
I'M STILL TRYING MORE COMBINATIONS OUT, BUT FOR NOW, THIS IS HOW YOU BEAT A CHEAT.
EVERYTHING IN CAPITALS AND CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR THE REST!
Good post, aimbots are for loser noobs. Its pretty bad in CoD:WaW, lately too. Punkbuster usually gets them, but the few, the lame, the noobs, do occaisionally make it thru. I wonder if there is a way to get them like that in Call of Duty.
To you other two guys who posted, why are you guys angry about this post? There are cheaters everywhere you go. And to the last one, why you gotta call names? Sweatting a bit, that he's got a way to beat your noobish aimbot?

Good post never considered that just thought I was not a good player on GOW now I know its because they used aimbots and your 100% accurate in your description of their ingame tactics about rotating!
I always take time to report players who I suspect of cheating via the guide feedback as thats the only way right now to get them stopped.
