is the Fallout 3 Game of the Year Collector's Edition: Prima Official Game Guide (Hardcover) linky worth the extra $$$ for the info on the DLCs?

Me personally, I only will buy a game guide for two things, if the maps are really worth it in them (who wants to print out maps), or mostly because of the artwork that usually is in them.
But other than that, I totally agree, the web is your friend for game resources, and gamefaqs is just as good as any for this, including codes, and Easter eggs.
I would say to get it, i own the F3 collectors edition guide and it was pretty cool, only thing i didn't like is that it was newspaper pages which i think is a cheap way to do it, like they did with oblivion. Cant say if the GOTY will have it, but who knows. Its a cool collector's item for people who like the game. Gamefaqs go only so far since I have used a lot, but a lot are incomplete and not very well made, also as it was said before who wants to download/ print out all those maps.
I laugh whoever BUYS game guides.

Really, are you going to laugh at me because I bought the game guide for Shadowrun, only because there is nothing else fan related available for the game?
If you have a clue, you would know that that guide has tons of artwork that is not available anywhere else, you would also know that it has a detailed history for the events that take place in the game.
Does that sound like a laughable thing to you?
Some people do enjoy them for the collectors aspect for which they provide.

And BTW, I've bought a total of 3 game guides in my 41 years, and each was worth the money spent for the reasons they were bought.

Not too sure on the guide, but I have decided to buy the game, although did take the original Fallout 3 back.
