Which card do you think is the best?

I got a new job and saving up for a direct x 11 card since I want to be prepared for the new games coming out.

They are all pretty much the same cards. Except you have the 5770's and the 5750's. They all have the same clock speeds even but just a different AMD/ATI partner.

Go with the cheapest 5750.

The 58XX cards have been out. They are just more expensive so I am assuming they are not in his price range.

wait till next year when dx11 games are out. That's what I'm going to do and save more money to get a better card instead of buying right now.

No.

Not to mention the 2XX series is pretty much completely scrapped. Nvidia isn't even in the high end graphics market anymore. Nearly every board partner has discontinued the 260, 275, etc. Only the low end ones are left.

DX11, not even worth it in my book, i mean if DX10 was barely used what makes you think this is just going to all of a sudden be the top dog. I'm still quite happen with DX9, hasn't failed me yet!

Sure now, its not worth it, but in 2010 it will be.  DX10 didn't do well because most people hated Vista, but a lot of people have/are going to upgrade to Windows 7 which supports DX11.

DX11 is very much worth it. Tesselation, direct compute, and true multithreading.

A lot of devs have already confirmed DX11 support. There are more than a handful of upcoming games that will use DX11.

Off the top of my head...

Dirt 2

AVP

Bad Company 2

Lord of the Rings Online (patch)

Battleforge (patch)

STALKER: Call of Pripray

Metro 2033

Crysis 2

I'm already building a list for my new rig when i have the money, one of which is the Asus ATI Radeon 5870, unless a newer one comes out by the time i start picking this stuff up (which will be still a few months away) but never hurts to window shop and compair prices :P
